ABOUT GROUP VISITS AND PARTNERSHIPS

The Hudson River Museum is the largest cultural institution in Westchester County and draws its identity from its location on the banks of the Hudson River. It comprises: galleries displaying works of art from the permanent collection and ongoing special exhibitions of American art from the 19th-century to the present; Glenview, an 1876 Gilded Age home on the National Register of Historic Places; a state-of-the-art, 120-seat digital Planetarium with a robust show schedule; Hudson Riverama, a hands-on environmental teaching gallery; a 400-seat outdoor Amphitheater presenting performances in July and August.

Throughout the year, the Hudson River Museum offers a wide range of educational programs for groups, including one-day trips and multi-visit partnerships, all of which support New York State Learning and Common Core State Standards, as well as STEM and STEAM concepts.
