Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance

This 1982 experimental film, directed by Godfrey Reggio with music composed by Philip Glass and cinematography by Ron Fricke, weaves together a variety of striking footage to examine the beauty of our environment and the effect humanity has had on it throughout the ages. Koyaanisqatsi will be screened at Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers as part of our film series inspired by Maya Lin: A River Is a Drawing. Bring your ticket stub to the Museum through March 31 for one free planetarium ticket.
