Watercolor Workshop with Artist James McElhinney

Artist, author, and historian James McElhinney unpacks the story of expeditionary plein-air drawing and watercolor painting, on view in his exhibition, Discover the Hudson Anew. Participants will receive instruction (indoors) in the use of both historic and contemporary tools and methods.

Basic materials will be provided. All participants will take home a sample palette, courtesy of Golden Artist Colors, Inc.
