Sound of the Machine: Demo with Mason Webb and Friends (Cancelled)

Mason Webb’s Instrument No. 2, featured in Order / Reorder, is a kinetic, sculptural still life that merges textile with sound. Over the course of two hours, along with special guests, Webb will perform his symphonic piece in the galleries, discuss his practice, and enable visitors to get a close-up view of the instrument.

For this performance, the artist will be joined by visual artist, poet, singer, and lyricist, Malcolm Mooney, who is one of the most celebrated figures in contemporary music circles.
