Yoga in the Courtyard
Enjoy a Hudson riverside yoga session at sunset in our peaceful, green Courtyard. Led by Chrissy McSweeney, owner of The Stretch Yoga, it’s designed to meet the needs of yoga practitioners at all levels, including those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses. Standing, shoulder and hip exercises, balancing, inversions, twists, backwards, and forward bends will be practiced with emphasis on safety and stability for the novice, with challenges thrown in for the more advanced practitioner. Students will learn about the principles of alignment and how to flow into the pose using breathing techniques. Followed by deep relaxation.
Social distancing will be in place with mats at least 6 feet apart; bring your yoga mat and a towel.
Please note, registration for this program does not include general admission, which requires separate registration, and is free between 5 and 7pm, subject to availability.
