Join photographer Joseph Squillante for an intimate walkthrough of Lens on the Hudson: Photographs by Joseph Squillante, a special exhibition celebrating his fifty-year journey documenting the full 315 miles of the majestic Hudson River.

Squillante will share the stories behind his photographs—the moments of discovery, beauty, and reflection captured from the river’s source at Lake Tear of the Clouds to New York Harbor. His life’s mission is to raise awareness of the Hudson’s beauty through photography. See the river with new eyes and learn about the river’s power to inspire and unite us.

Squillante has collaborated with Riverkeeper, Clearwater, and Scenic Hudson, which honored him as a Hudson Valley Hero. He and his wife, Carol Capobianco, co-founded the Hudson River School of Photography to foster appreciation for the river through workshops, talks, and exhibitions. His work is held in the collections of The New York Historical, Museum of the City of New York, Albany Institute of History & Art, New York State Museum, and the Hudson River Museum.
