Collection Highlights
The Hudson River Museum’s permanent collection contains nearly 18,000 objects, including paintings, sculptures, works on paper, photographs, decorative arts, costumes, textiles, graphic design, historical objects, and ephemera. In addition, the Museum also has an extensive collection of documentary photography and archival materials.
Among the selection of 150 highlights below are works by Hudson River School artists James Renwick Brevoort, Samuel Colman, Jasper F. Cropsey, and Asher B. Durand, and such notable artists as Red Grooms, Hiram Powers, and Sylvia Sleigh. Recent acquisitions include works by Derrick Adams, Ebony Bolt, and Robert Zakanitch.
