Big Mamou was formed in what could be described as a cosmic Cajun and country collision, when married couple Jim and Julianne Fenhagen met accordion player John Sherman. Their sound is a mashup of Cajun, Zydeco, New Orleans funk, and traditional country music.

Big Mamou is part of the 2026 Free Summer Amphitheater Series. Performances are free and begin at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30pm, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available. An ADA accessible entrance is located on Kennedy Boulevard. In case of inclement weather, the performance will be moved indoors. Plus, join us from 5–7pm for Friday Extended Hours!

Generous support for the series is also provided by the City of Yonkers, Mayor Mike Spano.
