Meet an adoptable dog from SPCA Westchester, and make your own take-home canine companion in a special Family Art Workshop. Plus, explore the history, ecology, and biology of wolves with a presentation by the Wolf Conservation Center and tune in to their live-streamed wolf webcam.

12–4pm — Dog Adoption
Meet a furry friend looking for a forever home! Volunteers from SPCA Westchester will be in the HRM Courtyard with one or two dogs available for adoption. If you fall in love, follow-up at SPCA Westchester in Briarcliff Manor to adopt your new best friend!

12–4pm — Wolf Webcam
The Wolf Conservation Center’s wolf webcams will be livestreamed in the Greene Education Center. These cameras feature the WCC’s two ambassador wolves, Silas and Nikai, as well as seven packs of critically endangered Red Wolves and Mexican Gray Wolves.

12–4pm — Family Art Workshop: Dog/Wolf Sock Puppet
Create your own dog or wolf sock puppet friend with felt, googly eyes, and markers. Recommended for ages 5+.

3–3:45pm — Illustrated Talk: Wolves of North America
Learn about North America’s wildest residents during an illustrated talk by a Wolf Conservation Center expert. Learn about the history, ecology, and biology of wolves, as well as the current challenges facing wolf recovery across the United States.
