Kaira & Friends (2019 Summer Amphitheater Series)

Friday, July 12, 2019, 8pm

This New-York based musician and power band will perform a concert inspired by the evolution of music in African American culture from gospel and jazz to R&B and hip hop, with a special tribute Ella Fitzgerald, who grew up in Yonkers. Kaira and Friends will be joined by members of a number of Hudson Valley choral organizations, such as Kingdom Christian Cultural Center (Yonkers), Mount Vernon Gospel Knights, Beulah Baptist Church (Poughkeepsie), Bethel Baptist Church (Poughkeepsie), Kingdom Christian Cultural Center (Newburgh), and many more.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Museum Shop until 7pm while supplies last. Plus, stop by the Dumpling Wagon and the Penny Lick Ice Cream cart!
