Sounds of the Caribbean Landscape
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Victor Rendón and Bronx Conexión Latin Jazz Quintet will play traditional Cuban, Dominican, and international songs, including Bilongo, El Cuarto de Tula, La Historia de un Amor, Toro Mata, and other classics. Their music will transport us to the islands of the Caribbean, whose diverse musical genres reflect the region’s rich Indigenous, European, African, and Indian colonial histories and influences.
