As we come to the Solstice at the end of the year, the nights are long and dark, with many beautiful sights waiting in the evening sky. This is also the time of year when we hear about legends of light—the Star of Bethlehem, holiday lights, yule logs, and the like. There are astronomical connections to all these traditions, which we’ll highlight in our holiday program.
