Showcase Your Students’ Work

We are excited to announce Teens Seen: Art Showcase, which will open on June 12 and feature works by high school students from across Westchester County.

Teachers are invited to nominate up to five artworks by their students to be exhibited in the galleries of the Hudson River Museum.

To participate in this exhibition, follow the steps outlined below. We look forward to seeing your submissions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Assistant Curator Shilpi Chandra at schandra@hrm.org.

Teens Seen is a part of our larger effort to engage teens by offering free admission to Westchester County high schools students on the weekends, so please encourage your students to visit the Museum soon!

The window to confirm interest is closed, though you are invited to join our wait list. Due to space limitations, commitment to participate will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If space becomes available, we will notify you in April.

We will reach out directly to teachers who have registered interest with a second form to submit your students’ names, artwork details, and digital images of each work.

Please note the following submission and display parameters:

  • Artworks must be 2-D and can be paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, or collages on paper, board, or stretched canvas.
  • Artwork should not exceed 18 × 24 inches. Larger work may be proposed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • All artworks must be “display ready”—this means framed or mounted on support with either hanging wire, D-rings, or cleats. Adhesive mounting to the gallery walls is not permitted.
  • The Museum is not responsible for preparing any artworks that are not display ready.
  • The Museum reserves the right to withhold artwork from the exhibition.

You may drop off artwork at the following times only. Student and artwork details must be on or securely attached to the back of the artwork.
