The World of Frida and Frida Kahlo in Context Reception

Thank you to everyone who came out for our opening reception for The World of Frida and Frida Kahlo in Context on Friday, March 4. We are so grateful we have had the opportunity to celebrate in-person and honor these two fantastic exhibitions.

The World of Frida and Frida Kahlo in Context are on view through May 22, 2022. Museum hours are Thursday–Sunday, 12–5pm. Plan your visit today.

The World of Frida was organized by Carrie Lederer, Curator of Exhibitions, Bedford Gallery, Lesher Center for the Arts, Walnut Creek, CA. The Hudson River Museum will be the only New York venue for the exhibition.

Frida Kahlo in Context was organized by Laura Vookles, Chair of the Hudson River Museum Curatorial Department.

The Hudson River Museum is grateful to Art Bridges, Throckmorton Fine Art, Jan and Warren Adelson, and the Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Nueva York for loans to this exhibition.
