Prominent eco-advocates come together to discuss sustainability, food justice, and the power we have to restore the environment. Panelists include: Murray Fisher, co-founder of the Billion Oyster Project and the New York Harbor School; Paul Greenberg, author of the James Beard Award-winning bestseller Four Fish,  American Catch, and The Omega Principle; James Prosek, artist and author of Eels: An Exploration, from New Zealand to the Sargasso, of the World’s Most Mysterious Fish; Carl Safina, MacArthur Fellow, founding president of Blue Ocean Institute at Stony Brook University, and author of Beyond Words: What Animals Think and Feel.

Followed by a book signing, plus a tasting of locally sourced food courtesy of Dig Inn, and a sampling of New York steelhead from Hudson Valley Fisheries.
