Explore portraiture with a hands-on workshop led by artist Lee Romero inspired by works on view in Art and Identity. Participants can create their own portrait or self-portrait using a variety of media.

Romero worked as a photojournalist The New York Times from 1985 to 2013 and was the chief photographer when he retired. In 2002, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News for his series on “Race In America.” He now paints full-time out of his studio in the YOHO Artists studio complex where his vision of the world blends personal experience with a fantastic imagination.
