Summer starts on the Summer Solstice, when the evening sky is full of beautiful sights. The long days and short nights mean less time for stargazing—but these nights can be warm and comfortable, and are a great time to stargaze with family, or whomever you find yourself with these days.

Join Marc Taylor, Manager of Planetarium and Science Programs, for this Facebook Live event as we take a look at the skies of the Summer Solstice. We’ll be joined by a special guest: planetarian-in-exile Brian Levine, Youth Programs Manager and Astrophysics Educator at the American Museum of Natural History. Recommended for ages 8+.

Visit our Museum from Home page for more activities, and check our calendar for upcoming virtual events.
