Create a multimedia self-portrait expressing meaningful moments from your past, present, or imagined life in this drop-in workshop inspired by the joyous world depicted in Derrick Adams: Buoyant and Derrick Adams: We Came to Party and Plan. Share positive tales, real or fictitious, in a story circle that accompanies these portraits. This workshop will be led by Teaching Artist-in-Residence Tijay Mohammed.

Engage with your own selection of myriad materials, some of which should be easy to find at home: cardboard, construction paper, magazines, newspaper, beads, glue, markers, pencils, wallpaper scraps, aluminum wire, cello sheets, fabrics, jewelry, and photographs.

This live Zoom event will also be streamed on Facebook Live.
