In recognition of Black History Month, the Museum addresses difficult elements present in American history and celebrates the human spirit. Junior Docents, led by spoken word poet Marcus John, read from the works of Dr. Martin Luther King and other activists, authors, and artists. DJ NessDigital spins tunes of the soul music fueled by the struggle for civil rights and the peace movement.
