Explore Ola Rondiak’s Motanka Installation currently on view in Women to the Fore. The motanka is a Ukrainian folk doll made with fabric, ribbon, and thread—and sometimes even tree bark and twigs—that is given to protect a loved one or share well wishes. Create and decorate your own motanka! A template for your doll and all supplies will be provided; this workshop is self-directed.

For your safety, only four families, of up to five members each, are allowed in the classroom at a time; first come, first served, to maintain proper social distancing protocol. Masks are required.
