Join us for professional storyteller Tom Lee’s dramatic rendition of Thornbushbride, and HRM Planetarium Manager Marc Taylor’s “skytalk” at sunset for an exciting evening in the Museum’s lush Courtyard. Seated under the stars, enjoy a bottle of small-batch hard cider, courtesy of Geoff Thompson of Thompson’s Cider Mill, Croton-on-Hudson, as darkness encroaches and the full moon beckons. Tickets: $25 per person; Members $20; includes one adult beverage. This program is not appropriate for young children. Recommended for 18+; must be 21+ for bar beverages. Learn more.

This event is cancelled due to the weather forecast. Tickets will be refunded.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31

11:30am — VIRTUAL Planetarium Show for Kids
This Halloween there will be a blue moon—the second full moon this month! Although you might think of a full moon when you think of Halloween, it doesn’t always happen this way. Are there astronomical happenings which always do happen on Halloween? Join us on Zoom or Facebook Live and find out! Learn more.

12–5pm — IN-PERSON Art Project
Decorate mini pumpkins in the HRM Courtyard with an imaginary landscape or a creepy scene. Then, take your scariest selfies in the shadow of our historic home Glenview! Free with general admission.

12–5pm — IN-PERSON Día de Muertos Celebration
Celebrate Día de Muertos at the HRM by taking part in our Community Altar, where you are invited to add a paper flower—representing a marigold, or cempasúchil—in honor of your departed loved ones, or place a picture of them. Free with general admission. Learn more.
