Jewelry designer, artist, and quilter Donna Chambers leads the first of a series of programs that link African American Art in the 20th Century and Landscape Art & Virtual Travel through the sensibility and practice of contemporary African American artists. Join Chambers in the galleries for a conversation sparked by the comparison of two landscapes, one in each exhibition. Then, the artist will lead a workshop to create a fabric collage landscape that draws on the vast potential of the textile arts. Recommended for ages 13+.
