Making History: Artist Talk with Vinnie Bagwell

Artist Vinnie Bagwell, who lives and works in Yonkers, recently won a high-profile commission from NYC’s Department of Cultural Affairs to design a new monument outside Central Park (at 5th Avenue at 103rd Street). Her proposed submission, Victory Beyond Sims, is anticipated to be installed in 2021. Hear from the artist herself about her journey to becoming “. . . a creative steward for our nation’s memory.”
