Mariachi Citlalli—one of the most successful mariachi bands in New York—are third-generation performers who have been celebrating Mexican culture through their music with audiences throughout the metropolitan area since 2000. Hear the traditional sounds and rhythms of this unique and festive art form, which originated on the west coast of Mexico and incorporates Indigenous and European instruments and composition, as well as contemporary songs.
