Bharatanatyam is an ancient and popular classical Indian dance that incorporates a large repertoire of hand gestures used to convey stories and expressions, as well as vigorous footwork, sculpture-like poses, and theatrical facial expressions. Liza Joseph, Director of the Westchester-based Natyamudra School of Dance, and her students will perform various pieces from the Bharatanatyam repertory, followed by an interactive session inviting the audience to explore movements that are unique to this style.

Doors open at 7:30pm. No reservations required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available.
