In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, explore temperatures far below frozen milk—a hundred degrees below! Experiment with solid carbon dioxide, which frosts the polar caps of Mars, and imagine standing beside the geysers on Neptune’s moon Triton, that expel dust-filled liquid nitrogen. A science educator walks you through the wild world of the very cold. Weather permitting.

Masks are optional in the HRM Courtyard; social distancing is required for those who are unvaccinated.
