Spend the afternoon with cone9colab, a collective of artists who embrace the philosophy of wabi-sabi, a traditional Japanese aesthetic that is sometimes described as the beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.”

In this hands-on workshop, arrange paint, paper, and repurposed materials to create a collage of overlapping circles, squares, and triangles. Take inspiration from works by Arlé Sklar-Weinstein and Richard Joseph Anuszkiewicz, on view in Order / Reorder: Experiments with Collections, to create an intuitive expression of your own cosmic energy. Led by Teaching Artist-in-Residence Natalya Khorover.
