Stella Paul, art historian, museum educator, and author of Chromaphilia: The Story of Color in Art, discusses the ways in which artists find and use color in art. Followed by a book signing.
Stella Paul, a graduate of Harvard University, was formerly the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Educator-in-Charge of Exhibitions and Communications, where she fostered interpretation for visitors through lectures, writings, tours, and audio messaging. Paul has also conducted the Southern California Center’s efforts to build oral history resources for the Smithsonian’s Archives for American Art.
