Professionals in Korean traditional music and dance from the Korean-American community in the New York area will perform dazzling costumed dances from different regions and eras, with drum accompaniment. Founder Sue Yeon Park is a featured solo performer, in her signature Seung-mu (Buddhist Monk Dance).

This organization, founded in 1986 as the Korean Traditional Arts Community, preserves, cultivates, and disseminates traditional Korean culture in North America. Members of The New York Korean Performing Arts Center (NYKPAC) are dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding along with an appreciation for Korea’s artistic heritage and history. The organization has played an instrumental role in instilling pride in Korean culture to second generation Korean Americans and Korean adoptees.

Doors open at 7:30pm. No reservations required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available.
