Where

Planetarium

Admission

Take an awe-inspiring virtual tour of the night sky as seen from our area, with topics ranging from visible planets, bright stars, and the Milky Way, to periodic comets, black holes, alien planets, upcoming rocket launches, and more!

Around the Winter Solstice on December 21, the nights are long and dark, with many beautiful sights waiting in the evening sky. This is also the time of year when we hear about legends of light, including the Star of Bethlehem, holiday lights, and yule logs. We’ll highlight the astronomical connections to these traditions this month.

Recommended for ages 8+; 60-minute interactive virtual show.
