Join us at the Museum for the next installment of this series of family programs exploring artworks on view in Landscape Art & Virtual Travel through the senses!

This program is all about using our noses. We’ll take a trip through paintings in the exhibition, starting in Mexico and making our way through the Grand Canyon and further east, back to the NYC area. On our journey, we will take some breaks, breathe in deep, and imagine how some of these beautiful landscapes smell. Then we’ll use our imaginations and our memories to create a collaborative aroma poem: What do our favorite places smell like, and why?

Strict social distancing guidelines will be observed; masks are required.

These programs are accessible to all families and are designed to encourage social skills development, support visual and other literacies, and encourage personal expression.
