Virtual Planetarium Show for Kids: Have You Ever Seen a Satellite?
We have been sending rockets into orbit since the 1950s. Today, thousands of satellites, a few astronauts, and lots of “space junk” (human-made objects in space that serve no purpose) circle the Earth. They’re not hard to spot—if you know where to look and what to look for. Then, we’ll return to our weekly sightings of constellations and planets.
Just like programs in the Planetarium, we’ll be able to take questions—this time through chat and comments. Recommended for ages 6–10. Please register only once per household.
