Virtual Planetarium Show for Kids: How Many Stars Can You See in YOUR Sky?

Do your kids love the Planetarium? We do, too—and since we can’t get together under the dome yet, we will bring the Planetarium to you!

How many stars did you see in the sky a few weeks ago, when the Moon was new and the sky was extra dark? What will the sky look like this week, now that the Moon is waxing and the stars have a lot more competition? Using a planetarium simulator, we’ll tour the night sky.

Just like programs in the Planetarium, we’ll be able to take questions—this time through chat and comments. Recommended for ages 6–10. Please only register once per household.
