Virtual Storytime & Family Art Project: El Pájaro Arcoíris

El Pájaro Arcoíris, or The Rainbow Bird, written by Ramon Caride and illustrated by Raga Garcia, is a story based on a myth about the creation of colors and the days of the week. The main characters are Xtamosbin, who dreamt about the Rainbow Bird, and her husband, Cohiztli, who seeks out the bird and asks him for seven colored feathers to illuminate their world.

Accompanied by a virtual family art project. Make a rainbow out of construction paper, glue, scissors, and markers.
