HRM Staff Promotions and New Hires
We are delighted to acknowledge the growth and achievements of the Hudson River Museum staff. With recent hires and well-deserved promotions, our team grows stronger, contributing significantly to the Museum’s ongoing impact and success.
Cathy Dattilo has been promoted to Senior Manager, Finance after serving as Manager, Finance for more than five years. She has been proactive in streamlining and improving processes pertaining to accounts payable, payroll, audit, grant reimbursements and reporting, and has taken on increasingly complex analyses and reconciliations. Cathy reports to Benjamin Fletcher, our newly appointed Assistant Director, Finance and Administration.
In recognition of his expanded role and growing contributions within the Curatorial Department and across the Museum, Salvatore Schiciano has been promoted to Lead Preparator and Exhibition Manager. In this expanded capacity, Sal will continue to work closely with curatorial and design teams, as well as directly with artists, and will now also lead digital rendering efforts to enhance the visualization and precision of our exhibitions and collection installations.
Also, please join us in welcoming Sarah Merenda, who has been hired as the Coordinator, Events & Rentals. Sarah joins the Museum with more than 10 years experience in event planning, hospitality, catering operations, and client services. Throughout her career, Sarah has planned and managed weddings, corporate meetings and retreats, nonprofit events, private celebrations, and large-scale receptions. As the Museum gains popularity as a venue for special events and corporate gatherings, Sarah looks forward to working with clients to create joyful, polished, and memorable events at the HRM.
