Hudson River Museum Elects Rosina Rubin to Its Board of Trustees
We are excited to announce the election of Rosina Rubin to our Board of Trustees. Rubin brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in small business management and a distinguished background in the arts to the HRM Board. She also has vast experience curating and cataloguing fine art, having founded Atelier Anna Walinska in 1999 to exhibit the work of her late aunt, painter Anna Walinska (1906–1997).
“It is an honor to join the Board of the Hudson River Museum,” stated Rosina Rubin. “Having had the privilege of collaborating with the Museum over the years, I am excited to contribute my experience in business, resource development, and the arts to advance the HRM’s mission and help shape its future.”
Rubin has been an owner and Chief Financial Officer of Attitude New York since 1990. In addition, she has curated exhibitions nationally and abroad, and placed Walinska’s work in significant public collections, including the Jewish Museum in New York, the Denver Art Museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., and the Hudson River Museum. She has worked with the Smithsonian Archives of American Art to assemble Walinska’s papers and other biographical material for digitization, enabling full online access for researchers.
Rubin is a graduate of Brandeis University and brings extensive experience volunteering for political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels. Reflecting her dual interest in business and the arts, she serves on the boards of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Women Artists.
