Offices of US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer Visit the HRM

The Hudson River Museum was honored to welcome members of US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer offices, who visited the Museum on Thursday, June 20.

HRM Director and CEO Masha Turchinsky and HRM staff and trustees were pleased to meet Roberto Williams, Regional Director for US Senator Chuck Schumer, and Jacinta Chen, Regional Director for US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, along with members of their teams. Together they went on a tour of our art exhibitions, environmental galleries, and community spaces including, Rivers Flow / Artists Connect and Neighboring Visions: Westchester Artists Then and Now in our West Wing, Red Grooms: Drawing “The Bookstore”, Kindred Worlds: The Priscila & Alvin Hudgins Collection, the Planetarium, and our Gilded Age historic home, Glenview.

Visits like this give us the opportunity to showcase how investing in the HRM and fellow cultural institutions makes a significant impactful in our community. We appreciate that our elected officials and their teams express genuine interest in our Museum’s work and value.
