Hudson River Museum Announces 2026 Summer Amphitheater Series

YONKERS, NY, June 29, 2026—The Hudson River Museum is thrilled to welcome back audiences for a new season of our popular Summer Amphitheater Series, sponsored by Bank of America, with free performances on Friday evenings, July 10–August 14, 2026, in an inspiring outdoor venue overlooking the majestic Palisades and the Hudson River. All performances are FREE and begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available. ADA entrance located on John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive.

Highlights include a special performance celebrating America 250 with Hamilton actor, singer, and dancer Ashley LaLonde; Grammy Award–winning musician Dom Flemons, who will take you on a journey through a century of American roots music; and perennial favorites such as Latin fusion indie band Afro Dominicano and Cajun and country mashup Big Mamou.

Before each performance, we invite visitors to explore our current exhibitions and experience special programs. On July 10, 5–7pm, it’s all fun and games at Free First Fridays: Karaoke and Game Night and on August 7, 5–7pm, free your mind and body at Free First Fridays: Yoga & Art. On select dates in July and August, explore our galleries, enjoy games in the courtyard, and watch a planetarium show at Friday Extended Hours (July 17, 24 & 31, and August 14, 5–7pm).

Hamilton and Broadway Favorites: A Performance and Sing-Along
Friday, July 10
Celebrate America 250 with actor, singer, and dancer Ashley LaLonde, who performed in the Broadway national tour of Hamilton. LaLonde, accompanied on keyboard by Nolan Bonvouloir, sings a selection of favorites from the show, as well as other Broadway, pop, and folk songs. Generous support for this performance is provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

Dom Flemons Presents The Bronze Buckaroo Film and Songster Show
Friday, July 17
Dom Flemons performs songs from his Grammy-nominated album Traveling Wildfire as well as a selection of folk, blues, country, and bluegrass songs, taking you on an entertaining journey through a century of American roots music. He will perform against a backdrop of scenes from the iconic 1939 silent film, The Bronze Buckaroo, which broke barriers as an all-Black cast film. Don’t miss visiting the exhibitions Black Cowboys in America: Photographs by Ron Tarver and Robert Peterson: Journeys before the show. Support for this performance is provided by Art Bridges.

Big Mamou
Friday, July 24
Big Mamou was formed in what could be described as a cosmic Cajun and country collision, when married couple Jim and Julianne Fenhagen met accordion player John Sherman. Their sound is a mashup of Cajun, Zydeco, New Orleans funk, and traditional country music.

Vincent Hsu & Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band
Friday, July 31
Internationally acclaimed bassist and composer Vincent Tsung-Yu Hsu leads the Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band to present Spirits From Both Sides, a captivating fusion of jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms, bringing together celebrated musicians from Taiwan and the United States to create a unique sonic landscape. This performance is made possible through the support of the Taipei Cultural Center in New York, Ministry of Culture, R.O.C. (Taiwan).

Afro Domincano
Friday, August 7
Afro Dominicano is a Latin fusion indie band playing “Afro Caribbean soul,” a blending of traditional folkloric roots music from the Dominican Republic with Afrobeats, reggae, calypso, samba, funk, punk rock, and other Caribbean rhythms. Their exciting sound is composed of vocals, accordion, guitar, bass, drums, conga, güira, and tambora. Generous support for this performance is provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

Dueling Pianos by The Flying Ivories
Friday, August 14
Imagine a concert where you decide the set list. The Flying Ivories take your song requests and turn them into a high-energy, no-holds-barred dueling piano showdown packed with music, comedy, and unexpected surprises. With a lineup of top-tier musicians from Broadway to Vegas, no two shows are ever the same. Come ready to sing, dance, and laugh! Support for this performance is provided by Sax LLP.

About the Hudson River Museum

The Hudson River Museum is a preeminent, award-winning cultural institution in Westchester County and the New York metropolitan area. Museum Hours: The Hudson River Museum is open to the public Wednesday–Friday, from 12–5pm, and Saturday–Sunday, from 11am–5pm. On Free First Fridays, the Museum is open and free of charge on the first Friday of the month, from 5–8pm. The Museum is accessible by Metro-North (Hudson Line—Yonkers and Glenview stations), by Bee-Line Bus Route #1, by car, and by bike.
