2001: A Space Odyssey
Inspired by the exhibition The Color of the Moon: Lunar Painting in American Art, our film series is presented in collaboration with Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers. It continues with this 1968 science-fiction adventure directed by Stanley Kubrick, a space-opera that spans the dawn of man to our reach for the stars, following humanity’s evolution and the rise of A.I. with the supercomputer HAL 9000.
Sponsored by HRM and Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers, where the film will be screened in a brand new 4K restoration.
Bring your ticket stub to the Museum through March 31 for one free planetarium ticket.
