Free First Fridays: Mariachi for May

Celebrate the beautiful month of May—and upcoming Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day—with live mariachi music! Mariachi Citlalli, one of the most successful mariachi bands in New York, are third-generation performers that have been celebrating Mexican culture through their music throughout the metropolitan area since 2000. Experience traditional and contemporary sounds and rhythms of this unique and festive art form, with dancers performing selections from the Indigenous celebrations for which mariachi was named. Performances will take place at 6 and 7pm (in the HRM Courtyard, weather permitting). Enjoy our current exhibitions, as well as a bilingual art workshop with Carolina Amarillo. Cash bar.
