Our astronomy educators will conduct live demonstrations that showcase how astronomers use light to learn about the Universe. Demos will be held at 6pm in the HRM Greene Education Center. Recommended for ages 5+.

Family Studio Science Workshop: Micro-Safari
Not all safaris feature animals as large as an elephant! Pick up magnifiers and tweezers and take a micro-safari through materials we’ve gathered from local freshwater streams and brackish waters. We’ll provide tools and samples, gloves, guidebooks, and microscopes. All you need to bring is your curiosity! Recommended for ages 8+.
