Richard Haas is receiving this year’s Isidore Konti Medal, named in honor of one of the Museum’s illustrious founders.

100 Years of Admiring the Moon
“Between celebrating its 100th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of its newer space that houses its art galleries and workshops, the museum had another milestone worth honoring in mind — the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission that landed humans on the moon for the first time . . . . “A Century of Lunar Photography and Beyond,” [looks] at 61 different images of the moon taken from as early as the 1840s through today.”
2019 Best of Westchester Awards
For the second year in a row, the Hudson River Museum was selected as a top Readers’ Pick in Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester 2019. For the first time the Museum has been named Best Tourist Attraction while also garnering Best Place for a Date Night (Other Than a Restaurant) in the Fun & Leisure category for the second year in a row.
