Painter Librado “Lee” Romero and photographer Richard Misrach offer two views of Calexico, California, both on view at the Hudson River Museum.

In May 2020, we invited teachers and students to submit images or writing that reflected our new reality during the pandemic. We were moved and humbled by the response from near and far.

As we approach the final weeks of artist Derrick Adams’ exhibition, We Came to Party and Plan, we’re looking back at Adams’ joyful work at the HRM. Be sure to come see this unforgettable installation before it closes on October 18.

We will be accepting submissions of photographs, sketches, drawings, paintings, short poems, and prose pieces as jpegs from now through Friday, May 22, 2020. Please submit only one original work per person.
