Family Tour: Watersheds and Rivers

Engage in a guided tour and activities inspired by the exhibition Maya Lin: A River Is a Drawing. Learn about the Hudson River watershed, explore natural patterns in the exhibition, and create your own version of a watershed system to take home. Ages 3+.

Exhibit Songwriting

Teaching Artist-in-Residence Jim Keyes will lead participants on a walk through Maya Lin: A River Is a Drawing, culminating in a workshop of songwriting inspired by the variety of works on view. Techniques explored will include song structures (verse, chorus, and bridge), rhyme schemes (end rhymes, internal rhymes, etc.), and rhythms.
